The “land of the free and the home of the brave” was born 170 years after Britain’s colonization. We celebrate our freedom and independence every Fourth of July through parades, family gatherings, and parties. We have picnics, barbecues, and watch festival bands. Of course, this holiday will never be complete without fireworks. The capital and its nearby states – Maryland and Virginia – already posted places where you can watch fireworks and enjoy Independence Day. Here’s an excerpt from NBC Washington:
In practically every corner of the D.C. area, there’s a firework display ready to light up your Fourth of July — but first you have to find one near you (and that’s where this list comes in).
In the District, the National Mall is the star, with A Capitol Fourth bringing swarms of locals and tourists alike for a grand Independence Day party.
Fireworks burst from the Reflecting Pool and bathe the surrounding monuments in colorful light, but this year’s event also features music from Frankie Valli, Jordin Sparks, Patti Labelle and The National Symphony orchestra, with Tom Bergeron hosting.
Some private gatherings will also be having their own firework display. That is why sales of fireworks are on the rise. With this, authorities advise the public to take extra care in handling fireworks. The chance of a mishap is quite high. Life, as well as homes and properties, is at risk. If your roofing in Silver Spring MD is made of shakes, you should be worried because this material can be ignited by the littlest fountain spark.
Jump to worst case scenario, this could ablaze your roof. It could burn your house down and can cause injury or worse, death to occupants. In order to avoid a tragedy like this, your Northern Virginia roofing should be fire resistant. A good example of such type of material is metal. Metal roofs can help you contain the fire before it spreads quickly and light up the whole neighborhood.
Roofing types like these are available from Roof Masters, a contractor that provides services to Maryland and Northern Virginia homeowners. Furthermore, we handle insurance for damage claims when a homeowner encounters accidents such as this. Repair and replacement services are also offered by the company.
