Roofing companies in Maryland and the surrounding region are getting busy keeping up with the weather, as the local temperature is turning to frost once again:
One more time: A frost advisory has been issued for areas west of Interstate 95 as the region gradually warms out of a cold snap. Lows in the lower to mid-30s are expected in Howard, Carroll and Baltimore City.
Temperatures dropped below freezing for two consecutive mornings; Wednesday and Thursday, prompting freeze warnings across the region.
Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport hit 31 degrees early Wednesday and 30 degrees early Thursday.Lows are forecast to get back to seasonable levels in the 40s starting this weekend, with afternoon highs returning to the 60s, and the 70s by next week.
Obviously, the weather in the area is a topsy-turvy mess, and your home will eventually start complaining if its basic parts weren’t installed correctly the first time. Unfortunately, some roofers only outfit homes with the tools to deal with one type of season, but neglect to think ahead when the seasons move into spring. This kind of operation isn’t only shortsighted, it’s also unnecessarily expensive.
The funny thing about the roofing industry is that people are much more content with the work when they have to see their contractors less. Each roof job needs to have finality to it; a major roofing job is only supposed to take one time to get everything right. With the erratic state of Maryland’s climate, it’s important that you get a contractor that aims to do just that.
Fortunately, there are roofing contractors in Washington DC that have all their bases covered. Roof Masters takes pride in preparing for the years ahead every time we install a roof; we make sure that our products can stand up to even the most drastic changes in weather and temperature.
